In collaboration with Panagiota Chatzopoulou, Michail Tzanidis
LOCATION
Milos Island, Greece
YEAR
2019
Located at the Paliorema bay, at the eastern coast of Milos island in Greece, lie the abandoned sulphur mining facilities “Thiafes”. This architectural project is dedicated in reinventing the landscape of Paliorema and creating a spa/bath facility to “heal” the human body and mind, in contradiction to the former use that sowed pain and sorrow, respecting the history and the intense emotional burden of this location.
