Redesign of an industrial building into a cultural center in the area of Agios Ioannis, Rentis.
The sense of the building transforms based on the light and the activities it hosts in everyday life. The addition of translucent outer skin surrounds and highlights the construction’s skeleton of the old shell and it’s new sections. During the day, the new metallic skin follows the industrial character of the area, while at night, the interior lighting reveals the public aspect of the cultural space and it’s new complexity.
